27 May

A man riding pillion on a motorcycle was killed and the driver of it injured when they crossed the Diva station level crossing after it had been closed to allow a train to proceed. Following the fatal accident during the evening of May 22nd, the Diva station staff is reported as saying that pedestrians, cyclists, and motorcyclists routinely cross the railway after the crossing is closed to them despite warnings from railway staff members.
