Chichester, UK: Fatality on a level crossing marks the end of 2014

A 25-year-old male was the last to die on Britain’s level crossings in 2014. The fatality occurred on the Woodhorn automatic half-barrier level crossing in Oving, near Chichester at about 14.00 on December 31st, 2014.

British Transport Police has said that it is not treating the fatality as suspicious and that a file will be prepared for the Coroner.
