Tallington, UK: Network Rail in the dog house

15 Sep

A large number of residents attended the September 9th, 2014 meeting of the Parish Council in the expectation that Network Rail would attend to answer questions following the recent public consultation. However, Network Rail only provided a statement indicating that now was not the time to answer the question as to the route to be taken to the west of the presently manually controlled level crossing; in essence, through or around the village.

The constituency Member of Parliament, Nick Boles, is holding a meeting in Tallington on September 26th, 2014 at which Network Rail is expected to attend. If this is the case the Parish Council says it will organise a residents meeting to proceed the meeting called by Nick Boles.

    Something admirable about NR’s consistency?
