Lincoln, UK: Costs force review of grade-separation

With costs said to be double of those anticipated, Network Rail has initiated a review of available options for the construction of a bridge to replace the Brayford Wharf level crossing. With the start date for the work looming, January 2015 may slip prompting concerns that the Lincoln High Street grade-separation project may also be delayed if there is a need to pursue a revision to the planning consent already obtained.
