11 Sep

Evidence presented at the Inquest into the death of a man on a level crossing in Suffolk has concluded with the return of an accidental death verdict. The fatality occurred on March 24th, 2014 on the footpath level crossing in Cattishall, when, according to a witness, the cyclist slowly walked his cycle across the railway while wearing headphones. Despite the train horn being sounded the man continued, apparently oblivious of the approach of the train that struck him with fatal consequences.
