Langley, BC: Overpass opens to traffic, five now delivered

The Mufford road-over-rail bridge in Langley has been opened to vehicular traffic and the Mufford Crescent level crossing eliminated, both with effect from August 18th, 2014. This is the fifth grade-separation in Langley delivered as components of the CAD307 million Roberts Bank Rail Corridor project on which a further three grade separations are being delivered as the 70km corridor linking Vancouver area port facilities with the wider North American rail system is upgraded to accommodate growing rail traffic.
