Jakarta, Indonesia: At least six killed in collision with truck carrying bottled gas

At least six people have been killed in a collision between a commuter train and a truck carrying bottled gas. The train driver and at least five others were killed in the collision and ensuing fire on a level crossing in South Jakarta during the December 9th, 2013 morning commute.

The leading vehicle of the train was badly burned and, some media reports suggest, that passers-by had to break windows to allow passengers to escape as they could not open the doors of the train. The leading vehicle of the train was reserved for female passengers
