Waterbeach, United Kingdom: BTP appeal gets results

LXinfoImage1202-WaterbeachBritish Transport Police (BTP) are trying to trace the woman who came close to being hit by a train on a level crossing in Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire, on September 12th, 2013.

The appeal by British Transport Police (BTP) (LXinfo October 3rd, 2013) has borne fruit as the woman who came very close to being hit by a train on September 12th, 2013 has come forward and is talking to police officers on a voluntary basis. Accordingly, the appeal has now been terminated.

BTP released images of the incident to highlight the risk associated with level crossing misuse.
The images show the woman cycling up to the tracks before braking hard and then moving back as the train travels across the level crossing..
