San Bernadino, California: Tenders for grade separations close in August

The San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG will open sealed tenders for two grade separation projects during August 2013. The first in Colton will grade separate Laurel Street and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway’s (BNSF) right-of-way at an estimated cost of USD 34 million. The second grade separation is in San Bernardino where Palm Avenue will bridge the BNSF right-of-way close to the site of the level crossing to be eliminated at an estimated cost of USD 13 million. The Colton bids need to be in by August 1st and the San Bernardino grade-separation on August 20th, 2013..
