13 Jun

A man who police believe turned on a level crossing and drove along the railway for 180 yards has been charged with drunk driving and using a vehicle in a way likely to damage or obstruct the railway. The unusual antics began on the Pumicestone Road level crossing in Caboolture at approximately 20.10 on June 12th, 2013. A train driver saw the car on the railway and was able to stop his train short of the obstruction.
