The public Inquiry into the proposed closure of four level crossings in Ramegnies-Chin and Foyennes has heard that more than 500 individuals have written or petitioned their objecions to Infrabel’s proposals.Objections have varied from the time and distance that will be involved (up to 4 km each way)  when alternative routes have to be uded, loss of convenience and the negative impact on social ties between the residents on each side of the railway.
